Financial Literacy

This course provides an overview of key concepts in business and finance, including financial statements, budgeting, investment, risk management, etc. Students will learn how businesses operate and how they can apply financial principles to their personal and professional lives. The course covers economic cycles, fiscal and monetary policies, government regulations, retirement planning, and emerging technologies like blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Students will also gain an understanding of important government organizations and their roles in business, as well as the different types of financial products and services available to consumers. By the end of the course, students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to make informed financial decisions and navigate the complex world of financial literacy. The course consists of video lectures, readings, and quizzes. The course is self-paced, allowing students to complete the material at their own pace within the year-long period.
